Volunteer Visiting Program

Trained Hospice volunteers visit clients in their homes throughout London to provide comfort and companionship as well as respite relief to caregivers. The St. Joseph's Hospice Volunteer Visiting Program is our longest-running program, serving our community since 1985.

About our Volunteer Visitors

St. Joseph's Hospice volunteers are compassionate and caring, good listeners, open-minded and trustworthy. St. Joseph's Hospice adheres to a strict screening process to ensure the safety of our clients, families and volunteers.

To learn more about the volunteer visiting experience from the perspective of a longterm Hospice volunteer, watch Kibby's story. Kibby Brooks has been a volunteer visitor with Hospice for more than 30 years.
